Is it possible to save a TIFF (multip page in my case) to stdout?

Most TIFF as created by libtiff require a seek to the beginning of the file to update the offset of the TIFF tags directory. SGI defined a variant of TIFF called STIFF (streaming TIFF) which could be piped between applications. The directory had to be at the start of the file. You maybe able to force the directory to be written first by calling TIFFWriteDirectory before writing any raster scanlines. ROWSPERSTRIP should be equal to IMAGEHEIGHT.
