I have updated the libtiff CVS HTML files and manual pages to change http://www.remotesensing.org/libtiff/ to http://www.simplesystems.org/libtiff/ since I have control over this server.

The URLs on the libtiff pages at http://www.simplesystems.org/libtiff/ should be mostly valid. There is nothing (easy) to be done about a previous loss of a Bugzilla bug tracker which was hosted at www.remotesensing.org. The ChangeLog and older release announcements are littered with links to this bug tracker. Perhaps a script could convert the problematic HTML content to something without a URL but which still makes sense.

I am seeing if http://libtiff.maptools.org/ can be reconfigured to again be refreshed with recent content so that we can enjoy redundant servers.
