Im using fax2tiff tool to convert a CCITT G3 2D file to a TIFF File. I got a error message while used -2 option.

TIFFSetField: (FakeInput): Unknown tag 292.

Looking for this error message into source code, there is a error. The TIFFSetField function doesnt get the TIFFTAG_GROUP3OPTIONS tag

Can I use fax2tiff to convert a CCITT G3 2D file to a TIFF File? Its work?

Don't pay attention to the warnings produced by the fax2tiff utility. You should get good results with command like

fax2tiff -o <outfile.tif> -2 <infile.g3>
