Too true. Got my jpeg reading and tiff reading code confused. Just ran into this issue a couple weeks ago and it wasn't as fresh in my mind as I thought.

For those who care, I ran into a jpeg file where the jfif marker was there and said 72 dpi but there was also an exif block with resolution info of 300 dpi.
