Every release of libtiff contains a copy of the web site.
Does it need to though? Perhaps a script could be written to add the word "Official" when publishing to the web server from the libtiff repo. In
It seems more useful for interested parties (which may or may not include actual libtiff maintainers) to file formal complaints with the domain registry and get the domain made available to its (more) rightful owners. The formal complaint would be based on trademark infringement.
