2004.12.11 15:01 "[Tiff] libtiff shared library name broken in CVS again", by Jay Berkenbilt

The current CVS has reverted back to having the same problem as the 3.7.0 release with the ".so" part of the libtiff shared library being dropped. I believe this had something to do with automake versions or similar. I just updated my CVS from about 11/24 to current and once again saw this problem.
