Sorry, I have question not on libtiff itself but a particular TIFF data format. It seems this maillist is the only live information resource about tiff.

My question is on 32bit floating points data which is supported by Adobe Photoshop and some other programs.

Are floating point RGB data stored gamma corrected or linearized? How should I use ICC workflow while processing data? ICC workflow is based on integer data, not float...
