at first, thank you very much for caring about the problem, and please excuse that your message has been rejected by our server. We are currently investigating why this has happened although we have whitelisted lists.osgeo.org (it seems that the list mail server, when connecting, does not give us an ENVFROM of xxx@lists.osgeo.org as expected, but instead an ENVFROM of <your email address>, which makes us scratch our heads ...). Fortunately, we have got the list digest in the meantime; otherwise, we would have missed your answer.

The reason why the mail server posts messages as the original sender is otherwise replies don't go to the original sender by default (they would go to the list instead), and it makes SPAM filtering more difficult for the recipient.
