Larry,

The person I received this from is quite legit I believe, he works for CERC (Cambridge Environmental Research Consultants Ltd). He has lodged a complaint with the UK Ordnance Survey, but he is dubious about whether it will be taken care of promptly. Therefore a workaround would be nice. I'll try the various suggestions put forth in this list.
