Hi,

copy an unknown tag is really a dangerous thing. I have had some trouble with it.

My encoder writes a SubIFD ( tag 330) for a resolution reduced image. An other program has copied the entry of the tag ( the offset to the SubIFD ) but nothing more. This new file will raise an exception with my decoder because there is no valid SubIFD at the address. Difficult to explain it to customers because other programs are ignoring the SubIFD and will not raise an exception.
