Hi,

I'm adding EXIF support, using Coran Poelman's PDS code. this involves adding an entry to the tiffFieldInfo array so i can grab the SubIFD offset field.

the item i'm adding looks like this:

        { 0x8769,       1,1,    TIFF_LONG, FIELD_EXIFDATA ,     TRUE,   FALSE,  "EXIF Offset" },

and i'm adding it between TIFFTAG_PHOTOSHOP and TIFFTAG_ICCPROFILE because 0x8769 falls between these two tags' IDs.

my question is, what should i use for the value of "FIELD_EXIFDATA"?

• should i add it after FIELD_CODEC ? (give it a value of 64)
• should i increment FIELD_CODEC to 64 and make my tag's field ID 63?
• should i use something huge, like 9999 ?
