I have looked at the various libtiff-lzw-compression-kit versions on ftp://ftp.remotesensing.org/libtiff/old/, but am not sure I have picked the correct one for tiff 3.5.7. If I go by date, libtiff-lzw-compression-kit-1.3.tar.gz seems correct, but don't know if that's the way to go.

I thought 1.5 was the final version of the kit for the last of the libtiff libraries released prior to the expiration of the Unisys patent.

For more recent libtiff releases, it's not necessary.
