I've seen the MK1 branch mentioned, but I've never figured out where to find it or how to check it out.
I'm not sure what CVS client you are using, but with the stock command line client it would be extracted something like:
cvs -d :pserver:fwarmerdam@cvs.maptools.org:/cvs/maptools/cvsroot -r MK1-branch

I tried this and it was not found. Actually, the line looked like this:
cvs -d :pserver:cvsanon@cvs.maptools.org:/cvs/maptools/cvsroot \
co -r MK1-branch
Also tried to cat the module database and came up empty:
cvs -d :pserver:cvsanon@cvs.maptools.org:/cvs/maptools/cvsroot co -c
I saw a not on the ossim mailing list that Mark Lucas, et. al. are rehosting several of the servers, including remotesensing.org and maptools.org. Could that be the cause of the problem?
