The TIFF/IT-P1 specification doesn't allow more than 4 colors or ink names. You would have to write a TIFF/IT (non-P1) file.
You are wright but even if I choose an other kind of TIFF/IT it is still not possible to write ink names in my file because the InkName tag is not part of the TIFF/IT specifications.
