Can you send an email to the list when the CVS head tag is back at a stable state.
$ cvs co -D 2004-03-18 libtiff
should help you.
Currently, I am using the head for production work since the custom tag support in 3.6.1 is broke. BTW: Did I miss a posting that this type of rework was about to begin?
It was planned a while ago, but real work started recently. Good news is that the new alpha version will be released when this work will be completed to test the new scripts on different targets.
