If people add links to the correct site from appropriate pages which they control, it might bump libtiff dot org out of first place.
Given it's bogus, it's hard to understand why so many links point at it. Is the google ranking being manipulated?
Another thing that may help would be to change the page title at remotesensing to be something that indicates that it is a more active site (how aboute "last release vX.X.X" ?), or at least something different to the libtiff.org page.
