True but irrelevant. Since libtiff isn't letting libjpeg write any JFIF or Adobe markers, it doesn't matter what libjpeg thinks the resolution is. Nor is the distinction between GRAYSCALE, CMYK, and NONE colorspaces significant in this situation.

Trust me, tif_jpeg.c knows what it's doing ;-)
