Bob, can you please tell me where I can get some test OJPEG-encoded images?
There are several included in the libtiff pics-3.8.0.tar.gz image collection available from "ftp://ftp.remotesensing.org/pub/libtiff".

if anyone else interested, there are two OJPEG-encoded images in pics-3.8.0.tar.gz:
smallliz.tif and zackthecat.tif
