Now I get some TIFF-Files with JPEG-Compression an I found as compression typ the number 7 (seven). But in the Paper I read that the compression type for JPEG is 6 (six).

The JPEG compression scheme described in TIFF 6.0 was not very well thought out, and after much debate it was replaced by a different, incompatible scheme. The details are given in TIFF Tech Note #2, which you can find at ftp.uu.net/graphics/jpeg/TIFFTechNote2.txt.gz among other places.
