Modern versions of Photoshop (4.0 and later, possibly 3.0 and later, but
I wasn't using it then) support colorspaces besides RGB and grayscale.
In particular, Photoshop 5.5 supports bilevel, grayscale, indexed color,
RGB color, CMYK color, L*a*b color, and generic multichannel color
images.
