LibTiff Mailing List

Can anybody tell me how to convert large image files ( 1 Gb or more ) 
from splines to tiles.
I have tried with tiffcp utility, that was included in libtiff package, 
and the conversion was ok in a small images, but when the image grows 
the program exits with no error messages.

I know that I can write a little utility to do that, but I'm interested 
in other solutions.
