Hi,

while searching this list I've found some posts regarding such problems,
but none were useful for my special problem.

Here runs OpenSuse 11.2 (2.6.31.8-0.1-default #1 SMP 2009-12-15 23:55:40
+0100 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux) with libtiff3 (3.8.2).

I'am developing with eclipse c++. The problem: If I execute my program
on a shell, TIFFOpen returns 0 (cannot open). If I run or debug the
program in the IDE (eclipse) everything runs fine.

On another machine with OpenSuse 11.1 and libtiff3 (3.8.2) no such
problem occurs (same source code)

I'm not sure if this is actually an libtiff issue, but maybe someone has
an idea where to look.

Regards,
Kai
