Thread2004.08.21 14:07 "Re: Class F tags", by Joris Van DammeI wrote: > What is the status of > BadFaxLines > CleanFaxData > ConsecutiveBadFaxLines > > Are they to be regarded as abandoned? Is is now my understanding that this 'Class F document' was an informal draf, that led to RFC 2301, which is to be regarded as a valid standard for what is called 'TIFF-F' and 'TIFF-FX'. That RFC is not overriden by TIFF 6.0 specification, in fact, it seems to be more recent then TIFF 6.0. http://www.faqs.org/rfcs/rfc2301.html Therefore, these tags are valid and shall be included and documented as such in the 'TIFF Tag Reference', with a link to this RFC 2301. http://www.awaresystems.be/imaging/tiff/tifftags.html If anyone know this to be incorrect or incomplete, I gladly stand corrected.
