Larry,

I would appreciate it if anyone could try reading my files with other BigTIFF readers and let me know the results.

I'm seeing...
16bpp1Image.tf8: a grey door

24bpp1Image.tf8: orangish flowers with green leaves 24bpp2Images.tf8: green trees with a blue river/lake background 8bpp2Images.tf8: same as above, but in greyscale 8bpp2ImagesColorTable.tf8: same as above, but in greenscale

Is that your intention?

The decoder I used to view them is pretty robust, but I have currently no access to warnings output. Thus, it is entirely possible that it has grounds for generating some warnings, I don't know.

One final note is, are you sure you want to use the .tf8 extension? There was a pretty hefty discussion about this on the mailing list. Opinions were divided, and we reached no final conclusion. I personally plan to use the .tif extension.

Best regards,

Joris Van Damme
