Use strips. The Tifff spec recommends 8K strips, but you can use larger ones to keep file size down. Your RIP software should be able to do this. Should. (if it can't, ours can... Email mailto:info@hyway-ferranti.co.uk, or see the web site... )
Doubt this helps hugely......but it's the way forward.....
