I'm trying to build libtiff from CVS and I get this error:

Sorry, that was my fault. The problem should be fixed now.
I don't have GDAL installed yet.
You do not need GDAL to build libtiff. The CPL stuff were in tif_overview.c by mistake. Note, that the overview modules from the GDAL and libtiff CVS should be identical.
