Dear Andrey,

thanks a lot for the changes you made.

Writing 2.6 GB files works now with the libtiff-v2.6.0-alpha from the CVS tree.

Regards,

Frithjof

Is there a 2GB limit in tiff-v3.5.7 version 20011128?

My linux ext2 file system supports larger files but I am not able to write an RGB TIFF greater than 2 GB.

Please, check the latest libtiff sources from the CVS tree. For enabling support for 2GB files you should enable LARGEFILE="yes" option in the config.site file (and restart configure script). After library building you you will get largefiles if your kernel/libc really supports them.
