The reason I ask is because I'm investigating some older code I didn't write, and it contains a comment that says "LZW doesn't work with BigTIFF at this time" and so it hard-codes it out despite user-facing option. But my research (and now this thread) isn't indicating this to be true. Maybe it was in the past?
