LibTiff Mailing List

I have two questions about TIFF's differences/similarities with JPEG:

1.  Does TIFF have a thumbnail (like the ones that JPEG have)?

2.  Does TIFF compression happen before parsing (like in JPEG)?  What is the
procedure in the compression of the TIFF file?
