Thread2000.10.06 07:41 "crash with CCITT4 and large files", by Bernd StahlbockHello all, we tried to use the Tifflib for decoding large images with CCITT4 coding which have more than 65535 pixels/line. The only effect is, that the programm crashes. Images with fewer than 2^16 Pixels/line work fine. Is this a known bug? We also see sporadic crashes while decoding smaller images (which are although about 40-100MB in size). It's everytime a access violation in the subroutine tdata_t _TIFFrealloc(tdata_t p, tsize_t s) in the file tif_win32.c. All our files are black and white and use packbits, lzw or ccitt4. best regards Bernd Stahlbock -- stahlbock@basysprint.de, http://www.basysprint.de basysPrint GmbH, Guelzer Str. 15, 19258 Boizenburg, Germany Tel.: ++49-38847-99-163, Fax:++49-38847-99-192 |
