I have some files that were created with libtiff, yet on decompression there are failures from TIFFReadScanline. The bottom of the pages are all white and it is when I get to that spot that things freak out. I think the files might really be bad because MS Photo Editor cannot open them. However, MS/Wang Imaging and Photoshop can open them but maybe they are just very lienient.
