Your OS kernel needs a patch. You should be using kernel
Generic_118855-36. Make sure to apply it in single user mode and pass
the -r option to the kernel via the GRUB interface.

What version of libtiff are you using? Can you provide the problem
image? Does it occur with all TIFF images or just a few?
