Bob, I try to consider the appropriateness of the casts before adding them, but I would prefer to hide some warnings that ought to be considered and get "clean" so new warnings get seriously in preference to the current situation (in tools at least) where I've given up on the warnings seem they are legion. I did try to ignore the situation for a long time in the hope that others would fix it properly!
