I cannot assist you in the tools department, but I'd be happy to see if my LibTiff compilation can successfully read these images. Just send one or two to my private e-mail account, and I'll check them out first thing. It is very possible that the core LibTiff library handles them OK, you know, but the auxiliary stuff like readers and tools fail on them. I think that might even be likely. Joris
