Hello, Jay,

Thanks for you reminder, it was rather useful. I have checked in the LZW
compression code, so now everyone can get the LZW support from the CVS.

It is not so hard to change the versioning because all required
infrastructure already here and all that we need is to replace the few
lines in the configure.in script and libtiff's Makefile.
