Thanks for you reminder, it was rather useful. I have checked in the LZW compression code, so now everyone can get the LZW support from the CVS.

That is wrong place to search recent libtiff news. libtiff home page located at the

http://www.remotesensing.org/libtiff/

libtiff.org is not under our control anymore (though I'm trying to update it from time to time). And that should be changed in the Debian copiright file, upstream site for libtiff is remotesensing.org for a while.

So you should use

Anonymous CVS:

        export CVSROOT=:pserver:anonymous@remotesensing.org:/cvsroot

CVSROOT=:pserver:anonymous@cvs.remotesensing.org:/cvs

        cvs login # use password "anonymous"

empty password

        cvs checkout libtiff
        cvs checkout libtiff-lzw-compression-kit

and now you don't need the last one :-)
