I'm happy to put up a new release. I've felt helpless because I don't
have the right versions of some of the autotools stuff.  I'm also happy
to provide a shell account on the libtiff file server to any of the
libtiff maintainers.  Just create an account at:

   https://www.osgeo.org/cgi-bin/ldap_create_user.py

and let me know what the userid is.
